### AI and Automation Engineer, Freelance / Contract (Oct 2024 – Present)

- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered automation workflows, voice agents, conversational AI systems, and data pipelines for clients across e-commerce, healthcare-adjacent, and service industries.
- Built Sendie (sendie.app), a WhatsApp-based receipt management product for the Caribbean market. Users send receipt photos via WhatsApp, AI reads and extracts the data, categorizes expenses automatically, and totals in local currency. Built with Claude Code in VS Code with Vercel backend.
- Deployed multi-client conversational AI agents on Voiceflow and OpenAI with RAG-based knowledge retrieval, intent routing, and live GoHighLevel CRM integrations for e-commerce brands (B-Fitastic, Oh Curvy, Lunavia). Reduced manual support operations by 70%.
- Managed product listings, checkout flows, upsells, promotional campaigns, and email marketing sequences for multiple e-commerce clients. Built chatbot-driven marketing workflows using ManyChat.
- Built automated lead generation and outreach systems using Google Places API, OpenAI, GoHighLevel, n8n, and Gmail OAuth2 with deliverability optimization (10/10 sender score via SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Developed ScriptSend, a full-stack SaaS product (Claude API, Stripe, Supabase/PostgreSQL, Bolt.new) for prescription photo submission to pharmacies with PIPEDA-compliant data handling and 30-day auto-deletion.
- Built client portals and admin panels using Bolt.new and Supabase with auth, role-based access, real-time subscriptions, ticket tracking, and knowledge base file uploads.
- Self-host and maintain production infrastructure on Render and Coolify. Manage API key security, webhook verification, error handling, and production monitoring across multiple live deployments.
- Provide direct technical support, training, and documentation for non-technical clients to enable self-service and sustained adoption of deployed systems.

### Senior Software Engineer, Amtrak (Jan 2018 – Mar 2025)

- Engineer on the Remote Control Train System, the mission-critical platform dispatchers use to manage and monitor real-time train movement across the Northeast Corridor from Boston to Washington DC to Chicago.
- Developed and maintained the graphical interface and database systems that dispatchers rely on daily to visualize and manage rail-network operations. Data accuracy and reliability were non-negotiable requirements.
- Worked extensively with Microsoft Access for operational data management, reporting, and record maintenance across the rail operations environment.
- Collaborated with system architects, field engineers, and federal safety teams to maintain data models, ensure database integrity, and meet compliance with strict federal standards.
